Our School Site

Northbourne has a truly unique school environment.  We are located in a beautiful rural setting which provides our pupils, staff and parents with wide open spaces in which to learn and play.

We enjoy six acres of woodland, meadow and field with uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside.  Our natural surroundings are at the heart of our successful and much loved Forest School.  The pupils have access to a large sports field, all-weather play area and adventure playground throughout the year, as well as a large allotment including poly-tunnel and greenhouse and a landscaped spiritual garden.

Our buildings have been thoughtfully and creatively developed beyond the original Victorian school buildings.  As well as generous classrooms our facilities include a well-stocked school library, a large school hall, an additional classroom for small group work and music lessons and a meeting room for the wider school community to access.

If you are considering Northbourne school for your child, we warmly encourage you to come and see our unique environment for yourself.
