Science & Materials - Stage Costumes - 14 march 2016
In Maple Class we have been looking at different materials for all sorts of things. Keeping in line with our theme of William Shakespeare, we have looked at what materials would be best for stage costumes, thinking about light shining through and whether they were translucent, transparent or opaque (this got a few laughs, as I am sure you can imagine).
These photos are from our lesson looking at the best materials to use to make stage props. We will be using them when we perform our plays next week. The whole afternoon was full of smiles, laughs and concentration - the class even forgot that we learning about science!!
