HAZEL CLASS - FOOD TASTING SESSION - TUESDAY 6 DECEMBER 2016
This week, Hazel class had another visit from Jennie, from Whole School Meals. We are learning about the Eatwell Plate and this week, we learnt more about the Starchy food group. We learnt about the importance of eating carbohydrates and fibre and how they help our body stay healthy.
We tried roast potatoes, roast sweet potatoes, white bread, granary bread and rice (cooked in coconut milk). Most of the class tried everything!
