Northbourne CEP School Uniform

We are proud of our school uniform. We hope your child will wear the school colours of blue and silver grey. Many children wear the school sweatshirt with grey skirts or light/dark grey trousers. In Summer, blue/white dresses are also worn. School sweatshirts, reversible coats, fleeces and many other items of uniform can be ordered from the school office. Socks should be school colours: white, grey or black.

Children will also need a PE kit comprising shirt, white, navy blue or black shorts and plimsolls/trainers and tracksuits for games. Leotards can also be worn for indoor PE. Plimsolls/trainers are for use in outdoor games; indoor PE is done barefoot or with plimsolls. It is essential that children have a full range of clothing for PE and that their PE kit is stored in an appropriate PE bag. (Named) These can also be purchased from the school office.

All clothing should be clearly marked with your child's name. Items of clothing are frequently handed in as 'lost property' and their owners never traced because the clothing has not been marked. The school cannot be held responsible for any lost property.

Children are not encouraged to bring valuables to school and the school cannot take responsibility for loss or damage to such articles.

Pupils may wear watches. No jewellery, including earrings, may be worn during any PE activities and children need to be able to remove their own earrings.

Any orders are to be submitted to the school office.
